Re: Frets on Fire

It runs here, _if_ you don't mess with the settings - somehow that seems to segfault (especially the video settings)

Which settings is that which one should not mess with?

Can you please tell because I want to get it working and i don't know which settings i should have messed with...

Still doesn't work here with the new version. However i'm trying to compile PyAmanith in another thread(sucessfully packaged & compiled amanith already) which might make it work once i get that working...

Re: Frets on Fire

When I changed the wrong settings, I just deleted the settings file (can't remember the exact filename though)

Re: Frets on Fire

The requirements are listed on the front page:

Requirements: SDL, SDL_ttf, SDL_mixer, 128 MB of RAM, a fairly fast OpenGL graphics card (shader support not necessary, antialiasing support recommended), SDL compatible sound card.[/qoute]

Re: Frets on Fire

Just tried the updated version... what a sucker that is. While the older was buggy this new one just segfaults as reported.

As to requirements. They have bundlet all deps within the package, but they have aparently done it badly.

Re: Frets on Fire

It works for me too after installing all of the dependancies. (SDL.SDL_mixer,SDL_ttf,python-pygame,python-pyopengl) Strange thing is i didn´t install the amarinth packages, but it still works.

BTW:Here is a site where you can download additional songs http://frets.freenerd.org/?songs
