X sometimes doesn't start

Hi, I use arch on  a packard bell easyNote (AMD turion X2, nvidia geforce 6100 go) and sometime, often, the Xserver doesn't start and I have only black screen. I use gnome with gdm. When X doesn't work I obtain this error message:

Type "ONE_LEVEL" has 1 levels, but <RALT> has 2 symbols
>Ignoring extra symbols
(this is not a critical error)
...
...
Waiting for Xserver to shutdown FreeFontPath: FPE
"/usr/share/fonts/misc" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing

Sometimes, without changing anything, X works fine. Here some parts of my xorg.conf

Section "Files"
        RgbPath "/usr/share/X11/rgb"
        ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
        FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/misc"
        FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/100dpi:unscaled"
        FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/75dpi:unscaled"
        FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/TTF"
        FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/Type1"
EndSection

What can I do? Thanks

Re: X sometimes doesn't start

I've got the same issue, for no reason X refuses to start, but I have not been able to pinpoint the problem. I'll try to go through the log files again and check if message like this appears.
Does Xorg fail if you star it from command like (startx) or if you remove gdm from rc.conf and start it later manually?
