Catalyst 9.1 unsupported hardware logo

After upgrading catalyst to 9.1. version, in right bottom corner appeared "AMD unsupported hardware" logo.
Driver seems to be working fine, but logo appears and not removable.
What is it?

p.s. AGP Radeon HD2600XT

Re: Catalyst 9.1 unsupported hardware logo

I had the same problem on AGP Radeon HD2400pro.

The new driver package installs an /etc/ati/ directory (i think the watermark is stored there).
remove the "ati" directory from /etc/ first.
And then rip out the /etc/ati/ directory from the old catalyst-utils-8.12-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz and replace your existing /etc/ati/ directory.

Reboot and enjoy your new watermark free fglrx.

Re: Catalyst 9.1 unsupported hardware logo

Thanks a lot. I`ll try.

But... interesting... why this logo appears?
