Thanks.

Hello.
I tried this with uefi. I can change it in the BIOS so I'm going to try normal bios boot now.
Edit: I got the installer working with normal bios. What's best from uefi or normal? Is there advantages with uefi since it's the new thing?
System configuration? Motherboard and BIOS/UEFI details?
By x86_64 option I persume you mean x86_64 kernel and assuming your UEFI firmware to be 64-bit, it should work. How did you confirm i686 load some files but x86_64 does not? Can you describe/post what is that 'SOMETHING HAPPENING' with i686? Whenever you post any question, please add all these info to the initial post itself. Simply mentioning x86_64 does not work (or i686 kinda works) does not help anyone.

]]>Hello,
Could you include dhclient in the install setup?
I have problems with dhcp it doesn't connect to the modem, but dhclient works.
Sorry my English is bad.
Thank u!
dhclient is on all images you need to call it from console.

How do I get it to work?

Because of that it is pretty useless as a rescue system for me right now since no lzo compressed device will be mounted. Are there any plans for a new release in the nearby future? I'd be more than happy to help testing it.
Also how about integrating burg as well. Seems to me that it's a very nice fork of grub2. But I have no idea if it will support btrfs as a rootfs atm.
Anyway, I hope there will be an updated version out soon.
Thanks!

to this:
setparams 'Arch Linux (i686) archboot'
insmod efi_uga
terminal_output gfxterm
gfxpayload=keep
fakebios
linux (${archlinux})/boot/vmlinuz ro ${_kernel_params} noefi
initrd (${archboot})/boot/initrd.img
I see "Booting a command list" for a few seconds, then the screen refreshes showing an underscore. I see the underscore for over a minute before the CD starts to boot.
Removing fakebios causes the exact same result as above accept my USB keyboard does not work after the CD is finished booting.
All the hints for this solution came from 'phcoder' on irc.freenode.net in the #grub channel.
