I just installed flashplugin-beta (10.3), but that didn't help. It still usually shows the same black screen and doesn't load anything. Right click menu still appears, but it doesn't do anything. I've disabled Adblock and other extensions (there's only few), it doesn't help. I also unchecked "enable hardware acceleration".
Anyway, I installed 10.1 and with --allow-outdated-plugins I can use it. Maybe it's not the best idea to use the old version. But I didn't want to switch to Firefox, even though I used it earlier.

...but if you're going to use the package on AUR make sure you manually remove the flashplugin package first as the author hasn't added it to conflicts= or provides= arrays. (I commented on it there already. My package linked to above doesn't have this issue.)
This is very annoying, I always have to start Opera or Firefox to watch a video. Refreshing doesn't help, but sometimes it suddenly works, even though I don't restart the browser.
I downgraded to 10.1.85, the plugin crashes sometimes but now you can just reload and it works. However, Chromium started complaining that this plugin is old, and I have to confirm every time a page wants to use Flash.

As far as I know there's no other ways.
Try go to this page and see if the "Settings" option is disabled.
Thanks! Interestingly, that video is the only one I tried that has settings enabled!
If it's still not working, try https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 21#p899821
I had tried that. Didn't work!

]]>A user on irc found a fix for unchecking "Enable hardware acceleration" for those having trouble doing so via right click --> settings; for some reason, it does work if you make the video fullscreen (even if it this makes video laggy). This resolved my flash issue and videos seem to be running fine for the time being...
Thank you for solution. It`s working!

+1
It may be something on YT side. Flash worked for me on all sites, apart from YT. Disabling hw accel helped.
]]>Yes! I can confirm unchecking "enable hardware acceleration" fixes videos for me (they were only choppy in fullscreen, but still). Begs the question why hardware acceleration doesn't work though... did the update hose the video drivers and not flash?
I don't think that this is an Arch/driver issue (or any packages installed on top of it for that matter). At the time that this problem began occurring, I hadn't updated in weeks.
