find / -type f -exec chmod -x {} ;
but you have to change the mod of the directories you want to keep yourself. as this runs chmod -x on all files on your system.

]]>Anyone know how to make a bash script that will recurse through every directory and 'chmod -x' them all? (Minus ones that aren't supposed to be, if it would cause issues somewhere. [ /usr/bin? :? ])
