No haven't reached that point yet in the game. I know that there is a crash problem there. But there is a new patch for the game that fixes that.
That is not what I meant and chapter 5 is not orchard chapter 5. What I meant is, that you might not experience a slow-down, until you get to chapter 5. Also, the crash is fixed.
OK, I just entered the Orchard and I had slowdowns are the beginning of the level until I reached the first puzzle.

Where is the anti-aliasing option? Or is that in your graphics card settings?
Check the config files in /.config/Vessel/ in your home directory.

]]>PKGBUILD works fine here! Only problem is that vessel runs really slow! I think thats a problem of the port + my hardware though, hoping for a update from humblebundle that will fix this issue as far as possible.
Thanks for the PKGBUILD, by the way
Yeah, mine runs very slowly too. I had to reduce the resolution to about the size of a YouTube video before it was remotely playable.

looking for feedback, many thanks!
]]>For those who did not request an email notification for it: Vessel 1.0 for linux is out.
Nice, I was looking forward to this game. Hopefully we see a PKGBUILD for it soon in AUR.
]]>Did anyone find out how to fix the texture bug in shatter? (Where some of the textures appear black.)
Yes, install lib32-libtxc_dxtn (in case of 64bit Arch Linux) or libtxc_dxtn (in case of 32bit Arch Linux) from AUR.
]]>I'm not sure what causes them to break with UPX. None of the HIB games seem to work with UPX enabled, and a few other AUR packages (e.g. dropbox) don't work properly with UPX.
Now that you mention it, it does sound like the bundled libraries are a common factor, but I couldn't say for sure.
]]>Any idea what it is about those executables that makes them break when makepkg compresses them with upx?
Does upx generally not work with programs that depend on bundled (rather than system-wide installed) libraries?
