exec mate-session
Also dbus-launch is not necessary with systemd.
]]>login_cmd exec dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session %session
sessions mate-session,startkde,enlightenment_start
(obviously, if you use only mate you don't need kde and e17 :-)
I do have the main shutdown button (in the menu), even thus it behaves in a strange manner - usually just displays the sleep/hibernate box and after 60s actually shutdowns). Not sure if that's what you mean by not having the shutdown button
]]>exec mate-session
I tried dbus_launch too and that didn't work either. Oh and I'm using slim, but it does the same thing without slim.
]]>mate-session[549]: WARNING: Could not connect to ConsoleKit: Could not get owner of name 'org.freedesktop.ConsoleKit': no such name
I didn't remove consolekit after its removal from the repos until today and now this is happening, and I don't have shutdown buttons anymore. What can I do? (Yes I have googled, can't find anything related )
EDIT: I should mention that I'm on pure systemd too.
