The USB disk is fine, since it works on my desktop as install media for Arch. Anyway I can report this bug?]]>https://bbs.archlinux.org/profile.php?id=567082013-01-25T16:55:11Zhttps://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1222419#p1222419Just tried the drive with UNetbootin and Xubuntu...everything works. So I guess it's the Arch installer...]]>https://bbs.archlinux.org/profile.php?id=567082012-11-14T20:17:15Zhttps://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1193051#p1193051I would assume that if the machine hangs at the BIOS level it has probably not so much to do with the install media, because that would come into play after the BIOS. Have you tried to boot a different Linux liveCD from that same USB drive?]]>https://bbs.archlinux.org/profile.php?id=291872012-11-14T16:13:32Zhttps://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1192912#p1192912So I downloaded the installer ISO and as per wiki wrote it onto an USB drive. My PC recognizes the USB perfectly and the Arch installer menu is shown. But the problem is that on my HP Mini 5102 the USB drive hangs my netbook on the HP boot logo (can't even enter the BIOS)...if the drive is out the machine works normally. Why can't I boot of the new install media....when I first installed Arch onto my netbook (1 year ago) it worked...]]>https://bbs.archlinux.org/profile.php?id=567082012-11-14T10:48:01Zhttps://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1192805#p1192805
