However I can login using KDE Plasma failsafe session.
Old tower system with AMD 32 bit - Nvidia chipset and GForce 6100 onboard VGA. Using nouveau driver. No xorg.conf.
Any ideas?
]]>I can run KDE in safe mode at least.
True. It's weird. I use nouveau, so it can't be nvidia-173xx issue.
]]>Is polkit correctly installed?
Reinstallation didn't help.
maybe it's related to this bug :
It's Vbox bug. We are talking about KDE.

]]>I can't tell which errors you are now getting and which you were getting but aren't now. Could you clarify the current situation in a single post?
I'm not able to run KDE. Without kwin and plasma it works. I tried startx and startkde. More over I can't run apps there (runner isn't plasma?). Pure KDE doesn't load. XFCE does. Seems it's dbus issue. Actually not much were changed, so my previous posts also describe current state. Logs shows some pulseaudio errors, but AFAIK it's ok for KDE. Where can I find the issue out?
]]>Have you deleted .kde4 folder?
Yes.
Do you have a separate /var partition?
No.
