Waaait a minute... Doesn't every maintainer put their name and email address at the top of the top of the PKGBUILD file? I do in mine.

]]>When you are logged in on the AUR then you should be able to email package maintainers directly as well.
]]>I ask because I posted a (very minor) patch for a package and then read that that is exactly the sort of thing which I am not supposed to do and that I should email it to the maintainer instead.
I could just explain what I did in a comment but that would take up as much space as the patch, I think.
