]]>I had some problems to hibernate my system. I solved that following the pm-utils wiki entry by adding the grub hook to my swap and, since it was necessary because my kernel didn't load the last session, adding a "resume" to my kernel hooks directly before the filesystems entry.
Now it works, but a bit too well as my system doesn't boot anymore and resumes every session no matter if I reboot/shut down in kde or in the terminal.
I find this quite strange since the kernel could only resume if there was hibernation-data in the swap and the swap should be emptied at shutdown, shouldn't it?
These are some entries out of my kernel-log. As it seems, there is no hibernation image found but nevertheless, my previous session was restored.
[ 0.534357] PM: Checking hibernation image partition /dev/mapper/ssd_storage-p_swap
[ 0.542780] PM: Hibernation image not present or could not be loaded.
[ 3.550393] PM: Starting manual resume from disk
[ 3.550397] PM: Hibernation image partition 254:1 present
[ 3.550398] PM: Looking for hibernation image.
[ 3.550552] PM: Image not found (code -22)
[ 3.550554] PM: Hibernation image not present or could not be loaded.
Does someone have a clue about this?
BTW: The Kernel version is 3.7.3-1-ARCH and the boot process is solely performed by systemd.
