During my previous installations cfdsik created the filesystems by itself.
It didn't. AIF called the mkfs during partitioning.

I've just been trying to install Arch on my new Samsung Ultrabook. After I've partitioned my HDD with cfdisk I tried mounting the root partition by entering: mount /dev/sda3 /mnt. But I get this error:
[ 632.639059] SQUASHFS error: Cant' find a SQUASHFS superblock on sda3
[ 632.639316] EXT4-fs (sda3): VFS: Can't find ext4 filesystem
[ 632.640253] EXT4-fs (sda3): VFS: Can't find ext4 filesystem
[ 632.642316] EXT4-fs (sda3): VFS: Can't find ext4 filesystem
After I created the partition table with GParted Live-CD, when I installed Windows 7 there was a partition of ~20GB at the end of the table which I deleted. Just in case this could be related to the error! But I don't think so...
Any ideas?
Cheers
