@lordheavy
Please add '0001-glapi-Link-with-glapi-when-built-shared.patch' to mesa (extra)
Please see FS#53069 and FS#53067
Not sure if I understand what I should do with the xorg conf files (I don't think i have any display related ones).

From what i can understand, your xorg server is started with the mesa driver (intel), and you gnome session with the nvidia one.
From the system journal, gnome fail to start because the glx driver from your nvidia card isn't loaded. I guess the configuration file from xorg needs to be modified.
A similar problem (but with nvidia driver) https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1693306

I've temporarily downgraded the packages:
cd /var/cache/pacman/pkg
sudo pacman -U mesa-17.0.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz mesa-libgl-17.0.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz nvidia-340xx-utils-340.102-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz bumblebee-3.2.1-12-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz lib32-mesa-17.0.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz lib32-mesa-libgl-17.0.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz lib32-nvidia-340xx-utils-340.102-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

EDIT: When pasting journalctl output, make sure to limit it to only the current/previous boot with -b, see the man page. We won't (shouldn't) need to see your entire journal.
