Top reports 19-20% when nothing is running, only the KDE desktop with the latest beyond kernel.
Vanilla kernel reports 0.3% in the same state.

try booting with the fallback initcpio img: kernel26beyond-fallback.img

]]>I've just installed the new beyond kernel, 2.6.17.beyond2-2. During the boot process, the system hangs while trying to load the initramfs.
I've tried the kernel on the following laptop with the same result:
- Sony Vaio VGN-A197XP
- Asus M6000
Any ideas?
