]]>This is a strange problem I encounter with my Sony Vaio FS laptop. When it works on battery power, it goes at full speed. When I connect AC power, the system slows down; for example the kernel boots a lot slower. When in framebuffer, you can also clearly see the cursor slows blinks slower.
I tried using sonypid but it doesn't help. I also don't see any errors in dmesg.
What could be the cause of this? I guess something built into the kernel is causing it. Maybe I should configure one manually.
