So this could be a qt5 regression, or a musescore packaging not up to date issue.

It is suggested on the MuseScore site that "I guess they forget to add some Qt qml libs."
If I run in a terminal I get lots of deprecation warnings and
qrc:/qml/palettes/PaletteTree.qml:152: Error: Cannot assign to non-existent property "color"
which is the same as in line 27 of the output referenced in #3.

Should I report this back on the MuseScore forum or not? It doesn't seem to be reproducible by other people so far and it's something that prevents me from using the program at all.
]]>I don't know whether this problem exists on other Linux distros, but since the AppImage version works, I have no idea why this problem occurs; maybe this is an issue only on my machine, although I've reset to factory settings, restarted, and reinstalled the program with the issue still persistent.
