Said in MX Linux forum:
"Arch Linux has the best Wiki in all of Linux IMO. It is the gold standard. Nothin' but respect for the Arch team and their work."
Link how things started when the word "wiki" was discovered but not yet the software. Same feeling when the wheel was invented.

True!

edit1: Ok, found one: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/UpLoad
But it is only working for admins. Can someone of the admins test and open it for the normal users too?
Also you don't have any passwords, since this is the wiki. So if you want you could use my nick to post something. Only the admins got passwords

PS.
In Home Page, are two new sections: "FAQs" and "Hints & Tips".
I'd be glad to copy and edit some of the others as well, but I don't want to do this without the respective author's permission.
If the authors are not copying the how-tos to Wiki, send a private message. If no respond, in my opinion, you (Dusty) can freely copy them to Wiki.... include a link to the original doc.
Once back in Singapore (10th), I will give time to Wiki... add few ideas, explore what phpWiki can do, build a FAQ doc from the forum's posts, and write a step-by-step installer guide as per AL 0.6 setup script with screenshots. If anyone interested can already start the work.

Look at the source? :-D I made the boxes with the verbatim tag. I think the pre tag does that too, but it turns on wiki links.
Edit: I just wrote a rather first-drafty version of a template for Wiki documentation:
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wiki%20Template
It needs a lot of work. although I tried to sound like its written in stone, everything should be editable based on what other people think.
I don't know how well the draft would apply to guidelines or general documents, but it should be quite effective for HOWTOs.
Would it be possible to alter the stylesheet for the Wiki to make some stuff stand out. Particularly, how hard would it be to make verbatim and fixed-width text a different colour? I assume that the Wiki is themable somehow?
