are the submissions being voted right now? It's taking a bit long, isn't it?
Yes, it's taking a bit long. We're discussing things. It'll get done when it gets done.

I didn't like your logo till now! This one and the blueprint I find the best of your creations so far. Magnificent!
]]>Hmmm, the equations behind how to draw this logo correctly are so pretty that I thought they would make a good wallpaper too. (I love phi!):

Oh dear, this concept is wonderful! But I think you should use:
(pseudoTeX) $e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0$ the Euler's formula that shows the connection beween real unit, imaginary unit, the base of exponentation and gree pi.
Edit: Ugh... I missed the last message... :S

But the first two are the most aesthetic, of course. Euler's formula... no matter how many proofs I see, I still say "wow".
]]>Cerise, can you do one with the wave function or bra-kets for the physics kids?
A derivative would be nice. dx/dy or something similar .
*busts out the sciences notes*
Wow, I haven't been asked for more science-based designs in a long time! wewt!
Let me see what I can make that looks like a good wallpaper, ok?

I can do it in various colours too, have a preference?

As a math major in college I must say this is the best.

http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/3063 … ncirn0.jpgOH MY GOD YES YES YES YES YES. This is made of definite win.
I've actually made an entire 'series' of the parchment/blueprint style ones, off of various internal revisions of the logo. My submission logo was one of the original variants. I've made a few revisions since then (although, they vary microscopically in appearance when not zoomed in 1600%) and with each revision I've made a new set of 'technical' drawings that I've plastered onto the parchment/blueprints.
This one was my first parchment in the series (and blueprint).
]]>@cerise: I sure hope you'll continue using your amazing grapical talents on arch artwork even if your logo doesn't win.
LOL it depends on the chosen logo. There are some logos I can do creative stuff with, but there are some that would .... well, they would be astronomically difficult to make a variety of 2d/3d wallpapers & artwork with (if even possible.)
I've at least been able to explore a wide variety of possibilities using this logo. This logo is probably my favourite after all of the logos I have created for numerous clients.

The best thing about that one is that it's almost abstract, so even if Cerise's logo doesn't win the contest, it would still make a good wallpaper. I think that (and the similar blueprint) are my favourites of hers so far. The flower's pretty cool, though.
