you are really cool I really appreciate your work!
Something I have done with archiso was to create my own live CD with my own kernel (real-time kernel at that time, to demonstrate something). This took some modifications to the archiso scripts - and as I am not a very good scripter, I had to hardcode a few things, which I am sure was the reason why Simo & Co. didn't include it.
Will this be easy to do with your guyses scripts? This would be a killer feature for me...

I hope this helps.
]]>main difference:
initramfs install system (archboot) vs. unionfs livecd install system (archiso)
Also i changed to provide images which include both 686 and x86_64 in one image.
It is a bit different how it works and offers other features, which are not included in archiso.
Both have pros and cons, so everyone can decide which is better for the purpose you need.
I just want to share them with others.

But as an interested by-stander: do you guys now develop both archiso and archboot?
archiso is so intriguengly simple....
No offense meant here!

]]>it's archboot based and not a archiso, but it uses already 2.6.27 kernel, im waiting for the place to share them on official server.
]]>The problem occurs when I try to select the packages. It gives me an error that says something about "at least seven tokens" (or something like that, I don't remember exactly). It seems that I can't access internet but my internet connection is working for sure (I'm using it now, with another Arch on the same machine).
Any help will be welcomed.
Thanks
]]>I was watching this Archlinux install on google videos, following a link on Archux, reading a text from a recent Debian convert

Know what? I read Archux top to bottom and didn't think to click the video link. Thanks for posting it.
I'm off to post them in some other places, still trying to get some of my Debian/Ubuntu using friends to convert
I may just have to put on a suit and go knocking on their door on Sunday morning

Into a checkbox layout? Since most users answer those with "no" anyway that would spare some ticking time wouldn't it?
Also I found, that after you choose "no" (or "yes" I guess) for the last question, the installer starts thinkering...
...for quite some time...
...leaving me a little bit worried about what's going on. (which maid me think once that I didn't answered the question yet after which I pressed [enter] again which was not good, because it influenced the latter question, about vi/nano).
So my second suggestion is to put a dialog "thinking..." screen right behind the questions, before the thinkering starts.
What do you think?
