Oh damn I got stung by the necrobumper
Lord Illidan, the Linux+ didn't seem that difficult, just being comfortable with the command line is what helped me the most I think. Which is why I'm happy Arch made me so comfortable with the command line. I also went over this study guide: http://www.proprofs.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8478
There were a few questions from each section of that study guide on the test.
That site has more info on the test itself here: http://www.proprofs.com/mwiki/index.php … _Resources
Thanks!
]]>I got a Linux+ book but I never really got into it. However, I wonder whether it is useful taking that kind of certification.
I do have the CompTIA A+ exam though I got it at 13, and now forgot everything we did
BTW, I grew a nice Linux beard before the test... not sure if it helped, but it probably didn't hurt.
Chances are that it did.
You might be interested in this story. While not entirely related to linux, it does analyze the success of different programming languages in relation to facial hair of the writers.
Also, consider the beard of RMS.
