I should be prompted with a message box asking if I want my hardware auto configured and it will prompt me with more asking questions. I didn't get prompted with anything apart from which text editor to use.
That is old info, the autoconfigure was removed fromthe latest install. (because it isn't really needed anymore). But, anyway, empty config files are almost always caused by an error during the package install step, and when it isn't, usually due to some error during partion/fs setup.

]]>Hi. I downloaded the latest release of Arch Linux and tested it in a virtual machine (VirtualBox 2.2.4). Everything goes great until I reach the configuration part. It doesn't ask me for auto configuration and as a result I'm left with blank files. Have I done something wrong? What should I do?
Most likely an error either during the partion setup, or more probably, during the package install step. Check vc/7 for errors.
