]]>UT2004 and DVDs (with Xine?) are pretty much all I want 5.1 for anyway, so that's cool.
Now, how do I use two cards? Just load the module for one? Or load both and tell alsa to use just the one?

]]>I'm torn between trying the SB Live again and maybe even getting surround sound, or just leaving my Digifire in and having firewire ports...
]]>Anyway, was desperate to get some sort of sound out of this card, which I've just bought (downgraded :S) thinking I would get some trouble free mic and surround performance.
Right, so now I have some sound. Video sound is fine, but if I play mp3s the sound is buggered. It runs too fast, crackling and popping.
IS there anything I can do about this? Asound.rc settings or anything like that? If anyone has any ideas they'd be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Thom
btw let me know any logs or configs that would be helpful.
