Workarounds:
* To change the brightness, one can switch to a virtual terminal and change it there, and the new brightness will remain when resuming X usage. The following line can be added to the "Devices" section of xorg.conf to enable brightness control while using the nVidia binary driver: Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1" This results in a high-pitched noise emanating from the display, which does not occur when the brightness is changed via the virtual terminal.

]]>I recently bought a Lenovo Thinkpad T410 and installed ArchLinux 64 bits on it.
Everything works fine except setting brightness..
I am not enable to change brightness level with the Fn hot keys when I am on X. (changing brightness works during boot)
Is there someone who has the same machine and who could give me some tricks?
