Email + conky

OK i'm trying to get the script posted here : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=876859 working with conky. But I have the same problem as the other person so used the solution at the bottom

cpan -i Mail::POP3Client

But it just gives me a bunch of errors basically saying i can't download the files because the mirrors aren't working. So how do i go about changing the default mirrors for cpan and what should i change them to?

You should use IMAP.

If you insist on POP3 then your problem is with CPAN and you should change the subject of this thread. (Also search AUR as your problem with POP3 and perl has a solution there.)
