Hello!
...Before, it would return right after moving the mouse. Now, i have to move it continually for 5+ seconds and when I return the system monitor shows a hich CPU usage during the time it is returning.
EDIT: This appears to be happening only with the Electric Sheep screensaver. It has happened on one of my last upgrades either on 7/20/1020 or 8/24/2010, so fairly recent. I did remember seeing updates to gstreamer, if that's the case.

Have you cleaned your registry? It could also be a virus or spyware thing. I advise you to get the latest.

HAHAHA VERY FUNNY FSCKD.
I changed my screensaver and it appears that it was only happening with electricsheep... I'm confirming this...
EDIT: Confirmed.

Just a heads up, the next time you ask us for help, give us more info than "something error happen." There are lots of screensaver programs, etc. We don't want to play 20 questions with you.
And this seems to be solved, mark it as solved. Post a bug report if you have to.

Dully noted. I didn't know what info to include as I'm still *kind of* a newb at Linux since i've only been with Linux since February. What would you suggest in this scenario?

I would give as much information as possible. In your case I'm sure you didn't know what is pertinent and what is unrelated. So in such a situation I would have stated something like, "I'm using gnome screensaver, the specific screensaver is electricsheep". It's not much actually, just to reduce ambiguity and give people a place to start when providing help. May be also how long the problem has been seen and any changes you have made since it last worked correctly.

Nice link. I've added some details to the original post about when it started.
