hi there
i installed vuurmuur since i'm paranoid, and because i like the name . i did it by the guide 'installing from source' on their website; http://www.vuurmuur.org/trac/wiki/Installation
that was yesterday. everything was working wonderfully still and i ran the vuurmuur_conf tool which gave some errors, as i don't know a lot about firewalling/iptables i got confused and gave it up. when i booted my pc up this morning i could not get dhcp. when i set my ip for eth0 manually i can reach the router, but still no dns, so ping archlinux.org for instance won't give. says unknown host. what can i do?
TL;DR: setup like this:
internet - router - { laptop, workstation }
workstation doesn't get dhcp anymore, and manually i can't seem to figure how to get dns server address.
laptop still does everything ok.
EDIT: unclear stuff. added TL;DR
