[SOLVED]Newb Netcfg WPA2 Question

So what profile should I use for a simple WPA2 connection? It has one password. Thanks

Read the Network Profiles wiki page, and check the list of sample profiles available in /etc/network.d/examples. You will no doubt decide to use either wireless-wpa or wireless-wpa-static, as required.

My answer was to run the standard profile with netcfg2 instead of netcfg. That enabled lan connection

netcfg: /usr/bin/netcfg /usr/share/man/man8/netcfg.8.gz
[stijn@hermes ~]$ whereis netcfg2
netcfg2: /usr/bin/netcfg2
[stijn@hermes ~]$ ll /usr/bin/netcfg
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 feb 21  2010 /usr/bin/netcfg -> /usr/bin/netcfg2

Are you sure that really was the solution?

Suprisingly, I thought so. It was strange. I tried the same config last night, and this morning with netcfg2 it worked. But now that I try it, both work. Must have been something with the router or something

EDIT: Also, Sometimes the addition of a TIMEOUT parameter magically fixes things. Strange
