[Solved] Replace cairo with cairo-xcb?

Hello,

Currently I have Xfce4 installed along with Openbx, but I now want to try out Awesome. Upon installing Awesome, I get the message that cairo is in conflict with cairo-xcb, which is needed by Awesome. Will it be safe to remove cairo?

Thanks in advance!

If you can't sit by a cozy fire with your code in hand enjoying its simplicity and clarity, it needs more work. --Carlos Torres

Yes. And if it does wreak some sort of catastrophic carnage on your machine, you can always reinstall cairo...
