output wireless from laptop?

Hi,

I was wondering whether it was possible to output a wireless signal (a la Mac) from my arch box. I would like to be able to do this because I am behind an ISA proxy, and so it would be useful if my other device (ipod) could connect to the internet via a wireless.

Is it possible?

Here's the relavant lspci line

05:05.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG [Calexico2] Network Connection (rev 05)

Thanks for all the help guys!

Re: output wireless from laptop?

You could certainly create an ad-hoc network, assuming that your laptop isn't using the wireless to get the internet in the first place.

Re: output wireless from laptop?

check the wiki for network sharing with wireless and be sure your wifi drivers support it
