Windows version of Mono

I have a .exe program so I tried to open it with wine but then I got this message.

wine: Install the Windows version of Mono to run .NET executables

And after that I installed many Mono related packages with no result.
I also tried installing "the Windows version of Mono" from http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page with wine.
...And still nothing happened.

So, what should I do? :S

Why not install .NET? I think you can install that stuff through Wine...

You can install mono into wine using winetricks
