Hello, i've just recently installed Arch (moved from fedora) and gotten Gnome to work. my question is this: the resolution that i've had working in fedora was 1920x1080, however now it is only at 1600x1200 (which seems to be the highest available), how do i get it to be at 1920x1080?
output for xrandr:
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 1600 x 1200, maximum 1600 x 1200

What graphics card and drivers are you using?

You probably havn't installed the correct driver for your card, and is therefor using vesa, which only supports a limited set of modes.
