esekeyd: can`t open /dev/input/event0

Hi all.

I recently switched to LXDE as my desktop environment, and so I missed the easy keyboard shortcut configuration. Now I use esekeyd. It used to work, but now it says this error everytime I start the program.

esekeyd: can`t open /dev/input/event0

I tried changing the permissions of the file event0. It works each time I change permissions. However, after a restart, the same thing happens.

Any way I can make the permissions on that file permanent?
