Re: installing older package from aur

There really is no way. The AUR has no concept of versioning PKGBUILDs. Unless you have the old built package lying around, you'll need to change the pkgver on the PKGBUILD and rebuild it yourself.

Re: installing older package from aur

If you use an AUR helper like clyde or bauerbill, there is a chance that you still have the package in /tmp/bauerbill or whatever temp folder your helper creates.

Or the package cache, if you use bauerbill's "CacheBuilt" option. wink

Some would say it is, fewer would say it isn't, and others might recommend Clyde  or one of the other AUR helpers instead.

This is Arch. Try the alternatives yourself and make up your own mind about which one is best for you.

Well, my first thought was "of course it fscking is", but in the spirit of the forum I gave a more diplomatic answer. tongue
