[Solved] installing Arch on USB on computer without HD?

Hi all,

I have a very old laptop. HD is broken in it. Is it possible to install Arch on a USB stick and run without a HD?

Take a look at CTKArchLive which can be loaded to a flash device and is fully arch-based.

The laptop must boot from usb devices to do what you desire.

The latest CTK download has an english option.

Yes, it's possible.
Do you want to run it as a liveUSB or a normal install?

Plug in the USB and install arch to that harddrive, think everything is there in the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Install_to_usb
