Hi guys. I posted here once long ago and I finally got Arch installed. I came from Ubuntu and I have fallen in love with Arch.
I'm having a problem though and even after reading the wiki, I'm a bit confused. I have an HP Photosmart Plus (B209a) printer that is connected wirelessly to my router. I'm really not sure how to install it on my system. I can't explain all the stuff I've tried already because I get confused. So let's start with a clean slate. If you had this printer, how would you install it?
Thanks!
Minor Update 1: Minor update. I figured out how to use hp-setup and it finds the printer on the network. Good start! I can't find a PPD for it. I installed all the foomatic packages but it's not in there. I can't find it listed anywhere.
Minor Update 2: Alright, it turns out it was in the hjis package. I got that installed. It's in the gnome cups program but I can't print.
I figured it out. I stopped using the gnome manager and just used straight CUPS.
It worked! Hoorah! I love solving my own problems.

You might want to learn how to use the 'Edit' button...
At the rate you are going you'll have this solved in the hour.
