Hello guys,

I often have to type definitions and formulars with inferior or superior indexes. Are there some global shortcuts in linux to do that easily equal which program I use?

Thank you in advance.

You mean like mathematical or chemical formulas, E=mc² or H₂O?

The markup depends on the program you're using, so no, I don't think there are any global shortcuts.
There are e.g. html or hex (unicode) representations that are quite common. http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/inte … chart.html

Have a look at latex, it's great for technical/mathematical writing. It has a pretty steep learning curve, though.
