chromium pcmanfm

when I download something in Chromium  when I click on the finished download in the bar at the bottom of Chromium it does not open the file  as it should. Also when I right click on a file and select "show in folder" it does not work...
i tryed adding this to my /usr/bin/xdg-open
   generic)
    pcmanfm "$url"
    ;;

#    generic)
#    open_generic "$url"
#    ;;
after that i tryed a restart but no luck with it.

It deals with your topic, not directly, but the how to change one of the xdg apps.

The short of it is that you don't have to modify the binary itself.  There are other ways to change it:  xdg-mime.
