Hi, what would be the easiest way to make a red root terminal?
I mean so it is red in colour and when I have a normal terminal open and a root one I can easily see which is which.
PS at the moment I use gnome-terminal but I don't mind using another one for this functionality (or even one for root and one for normal user)

Okay. Guess I misunderstand you here?
Is adding this to "/root/.bashrc" helping you?

Changing the background color depends on the terminal however I don't think you can change the titlebar on a per user basis. You can use a different GTK theme for root so the menu will look different though.
