what processor should i select when i configure compiling kernel?
my processor is dual core Celeron M, here's some of the /proc/cpuinfo:
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 14
model name : Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz
stepping : 8
i think that I should select "Pentium M",
but on http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/Safe_Cflags/Intel they write:
The newer (eg. 420) Celeron-M processors are Core Solo based, not Pentium-M based. If your processor's family and model are 6 and 14, then you should use the -march=prescott option.
any ideas?

Have you read the "warning" heading on the page you linked?

what is in the flags section of your cpuinfo?
EDIT: Based on what you show there its possible that it is pentium 4 based celeron.

Ah, good taste! What a dreadful thing! Taste is the enemy of creativeness.
