[SOLVED]openbox + gtk themes (how to theme buttons/scroll bars)

3rd topic.  dont worry, this one is not about nvidia.

how exactly do you theme windows?  its a gtk theme, right?  i have gtk-theme-switch2 installed, but it only changes colors.  buttons & scroll bar shapes are the same.

this is probably very simple, i'm just missing something.

Always best to do a little research before posting; that way, we don't have empty threads clogging up the forum.

Re: [SOLVED]openbox + gtk themes (how to theme buttons/scroll bars)

thanks, but i already had, and using the wiki article you posted there (and https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Op … s_and_Apps ).  they both fail to mention "gtk-engines", so i was confused when the themes i applied only changed colors.

the idea just donned on me after posting.  looked it up and found it.  sorry for the empty thread.

I'm having the same problem. Mind explaining what you did to fix it?

pacman -S gtk-engines

pretty simple!

Thanks, I found it too smile It was initially a little confused because the openbox wiki says you need gtk2-engines. Everything is looking beautiful now!
