LXDM+XFCE no Reboot-ShutDown

hello guys i have jsut installed XFCE adn LXDM as login manager. whenever i select reboot or shutdown my X gets killed and it takes me back to LXDM.

Are you a member of the "power" group?
type

groups

in a terminal.
If not, with the command "usermod" (as root) you can add yourself to this group - this is valid AFTER you log in again.

for some reason installing the following packages fixed the issue. i am not sure wich one of this 3 packages do the trick but they should probably be added as dependency of lxdm
lxde-common
lxlauncher
lxrandr
