How do you install pecl (so that I can install the ssh2 module)?

Nm - it appears to have been installed when i installed the php-pear package

If you install pkgtools, you can use pkgfile to give you the package containing any particular file.

$ pkgfile pecl
community/php52
extra/php-pear
