Badblocks

Hi there, im a newbie and im asking for badblocks presets, well.
I have a 160gb Fujitsu HD and it started to make some weird noises when I need to use it, its still readable, but no more writable. I formated the disk and still cant write nothing. So i searched about badblocks and found that everyone have different presets acording to filesystem and size, I used to have this disk in NTFS. Any sugestions?

Re: Badblocks

Can you give us the output of "mount" after you have mounted the disk and also dmesg when you hear this noise or try to write to it.

Just type mount in a console
