Hi,
as the title says:
broadcom wl module dissapeared after upgrading kernel to 2.6.38
This means I don't have wireless anymore.
Any ideas on this?
Thanks!

I got it working back again by installing broadcom-wl from the AUR

Did you also figure out why you had to do that? Or are you just happy that it's working again?

Believe it or not, but I was about to ask this when your answer came in.
So that means, i actually do wonder why, because with other kernel upgrades I didn't have this problem
Or has this something to do with 2.6.37-5 -> 2.6.37-6 (37 remains?) in this case everything kept working
And of course I am very happy because I was about to start studying
So plz, can you tell my why?
Thanks a lot!

I could tell you why, but where's the fun in that?
Compare the filelists for your current wl package and your previous one, and also for the current and previous kernel packages.
