Ekiga via VPN

Hello guys,

is anyone of you able to run Ekiga via a VPN connection over the PPTP protocoll?

I have got it to work via SSH connection, and i have also got it to work over OpenVPN 'dev tun'
You do not need to set up any accounts on ekiga... you can simply dial a direct ip connection.
Just dial 'sip:user@ip' from one of the clients to call the other. user can be anything.

Do you want to make a call between computers connected to a VPN? Or is it that you want to connect ekiga via VPN to the internet and receive calls from the internet? Need you to clarify what you are trying to do.

Typically the last case. Via Ekiga I'm connected to the VoIP provider sipgate.de which let me be able to receive phone calls from normal telephones.
