Control with moniter applications open on.

I have been search around for a way to control which moniter an application will open on by default when using a dual screen setup but I haven't been able to find anything. Any suggestions?

Depends on your window manager. Whichever you use, check it's documentation, it should be mentioned there.

Maybe I'm ignorant but I doubt Xfce has functionality for that built in. It doesnt seem like a regular request especially for a minimalist window manager. I took a look around everywhere I could and I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.

Arch is the reason I stopped downloading different distro ISO's, burning cd's and repartitioning my computer to the point I had 6 versions of linux on. Now I still have to reinstall I just have one CD and keep the partition scheme.

You can try using devil's pie and setting the window geometry to be offset by the size of the first screen but that may not work.

(if
    (is (application_name) "<Your Application Name From xwininfo or xprop>")
    (begin
       (geometry "+1280+0")
    )
)
