Problem with evolution

My installation of evolution is having trouble downloading my mail.  It was working fine yesterday but perhaps I upgraded something that broke it (I've been running pacman -Syu and yaourt -Syau pretty often).  Evolution starts up find but seems to have trouble retrieving my mail.  I can telnet to the pop server fine so this isn't the problem.

The following errors are printed if I run evolution from a terminal:

(evolution:3472): GLib-CRITICAL **: the GVariant format string `(u)' has a type of `(u)' but the given value has a type of `(s)'

(evolution:3472): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_variant_get: assertion `valid_format_string (format_string, TRUE, value)' failed

Any ideas?  Google gives me one or two hits for similar errors but no solutions.

Re: Problem with evolution

Well, if you don't need any of the mail on the local system you can try removing the directories/files it is complaining about... Sorry I don't have an actual, good solution.
