[SOLVED]/root/.bashrc not read

Hi,

Freshly installed Arch and here's the second problem I've hit (I'll post the first elsewhere as it's a bit more major). When I login as root, my /root/.bashrc file isn't sourced. I know this because I created it with a fancy-pants $PS1 coloured prompt but it doesn't appear as such, though it does work if I source .bashrc in the open terminal. I've done similar for my regular user accounts, and those work as expected.

Any ideas what could cause this? Thanks in advance.

Re: [SOLVED]/root/.bashrc not read

Yup, that got it! Copied the /etc/skel/.bash_profile to /root/ and all is well. Thanks for the help.
