[SOLVED] i3 window rules

With dwm you can set window rules in config.h, such as setting certain window classes to floating etc.

I can't find a way to do this in i3 window manager. Is it possible? I've noticed that sometimes windows automatically are set to floating without any configuration, but this behaviour is erratic and unpredictable.
